Waiheke Retreat
We’re no strangers to building on remote sites like Waiheke Island. But commuting is tiring on our team, so we built our own mobile accommodation (a massive house on wheels that is legal on the road) which we use to relocate our team to the location.
For this particular build we had use of a guest house on Waiheke so didn’t need the mobile unit. However, the owner decided he’d like the place finished in time for Christmas (ahead of schedule) which we informed him would require more workers from the mainland. He replied, “No worries, I’ll chopper them over and back each day.” Which he did. For 3 weeks.
